The Handmaiden - A Little Golden Book

One of the biggest project we had at school this year was to adapt a movie/game/novel into a Little Golden Book.
Mine is an adaptation of the movie of Park Chan wook 'The Handmaiden', one my favorite movies of all time. As we were briefed that the books were going to be very short and the story needed to be as simple as possible, I had to change it a bit. 'The Handmaiden' is quite a complex story -which is one of the reasons why I love it- and I couldn't keep everything so I decided to focus mainly on the love story.
We had a few faculty members and some students from the design section to help us for the text and the layout, but apart from that we did almost everything on our own -from rewriting the story to storyboarding, and doing the illustrations, of course ;)
